After your initial examination, we will provide you with a treatment plan, treatment options and fee estimate. This means you can choose the treatment option that best suits you with no hidden costs or surprises.

Due to the nature of our services, it is not possible to give a treatment plan without a consultation appointment. The cost of an initial or emergency consultation appointment is $76.  If dental radiographs are required, they are $54 each. Intraoral photography, which allows us to share with you exactly what is going on, is included in every appointment.

Dental disease left untreated can become very painful, more expensive and difficult to treat.  Rather than delaying necessary treatment we are glad to offer interest free payment plans. Our friendly staff can give you more information and also help you submit your application.

We offer bulk-billing for children eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. Please inform reception at the time of booking their appointment that your child is eligible for this scheme and bring along their Medicare card to the start of their appointment, so we can confirm eligibility and provide you with the associated paperwork.

The Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS) is a dental benefits program for eligible children aged 2-17 years that provides up to $1000 in benefits to the child for basic dental services.

To be eligible for the scheme:

• Children aged between 2-17 years
• Receive, or their family receives certain government benefits such as Family Tax Benefit Part A
• Are eligible for Medicare

Basic dental services include dental exams, dental x-rays, dental fillings, fissure sealants, and extractions.

If you are unsure of eligibility you can phone Medicare on 13 20 11 or contact our staff to find out on your behalf. Please inform reception when making an appointment if your children are eligible for the scheme so they can prepare the associated paperwork.

We offer bulk-billing for all eligible Veterans’ Affairs card holders. All gold card holders receive free dental treatment (in accordance with DVA dental schedule – some restrictions apply). White card holders can check eligibility by phoning 1900 555 254. Available treatment includes preventive dental, general dental, major dental and denture services. Please inform reception when making an appointment if you are a holder of a DVA card so they can prepare the associated paperwork.

Coorparoo Family Dental are proud partners with HCF – More for teeth program – which means HCF members with extras cover will receive a higher rebate on a range of preventive and diagnostic services. Most HCF members will receive 100% rebate on examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride treatment and mouthguards with no out-of-pocket expense (subject to annual limits). We provide HICAPS to process your health fund claim instantly. This means that you no longer have to pay the full amount for treatment upfront – simply pay the gap at the end of your appointment. We accept the majority of health funds.

We accept the following payment methods: Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS, Visa and MasterCard. Payment is expected on the day of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
