Mark grew up in the Coorparoo area and since graduating from the University of Queensland in 1978, has practiced dentistry in the Brisbane suburbs of The Gap and Ashgrove. For six years, Mark also spent some time each month working at a Specialist Prosthodontic Practice in North Queensland, learning advanced restorative techniques.

While Mark enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, he has special interests in Cosmetic Reconstructive Dentistry, Crowns and Bridges, Implants, Restorative procedures and Oral Surgery (including the surgical removal of wisdom teeth).

Mark‘s gentle and caring manner has been instrumental in building the successful long term patient relationships he has enjoyed at previous practices and here at Coorparoo Family Dental.  His commitment to the art of dental excellence allows Mark to achieve the highest levels of clinical success for his patients and he is committed to working with his patients to ensure their optimal dental health and satisfaction in helping them maintain their teeth for life.

Mark is an active member of the Australian Dental Association and has served on its sub-committees and regularly attends continuing education courses to stay abreast with current techniques, trends and materials.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, bush walking with his pet dogs, fishing and playing guitar.
