Reception and Assistant Team

Skye

Our amazing practice manager Skye joined our practice in 2014 after moving to Brisbane from the Gold Coast. Having worked in the dental industry for over 20 years she has worked as a dental assistant, receptionist and practice manager.  There are no problems Skye can’t solve!  Skye is currently studying international relations but somehow manages in her spare time to fit in hiking, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Hayley

Hayley became part of the ‘Coorparoo Family Dental’ family in 2015.  You will hear her friendly voice on the phone and see her smile behind the front desk every time you call or visit us. Her quiet and gentle manner and conscientious work ethic is a huge asset to our dental team. If you don’t see her out and about on her bike, you’ll find her in the kitchen baking yummy treats.

Rachel

Rachel joined the practice in November 2009 after having a year and a half break form Dental Assisting. Previously she worked at the University of Queensland Dental School for 10 years where she was in charge of the general dentistry clinic. She completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2000. In her year and a half off she worked in Central Queensland on a farmstay taking backpackers horse riding and on farm tours. Her interests include her two horses, two dogs, ménage of chickens, endurance horse-riding and slashing her 20acres.

Tyson

Tyson joined the practice in 2015.  He loves work and is constantly keeping the team at Coorparoo Family Dental entertained with his eclectic taste in music and uncanny memory.  Originally from New Zealand, Tyson still supports the All Blacks “because they’re the best team in the world”. He plans to start studying Paramedic Science in 2019

Lizz

Lizz joined Coorparoo Family Dental in 2016 when she moved to Queensland from Jervis Bay in New South Wales.  Lizz has nine years experience working as a dental assistant and enjoys taking care of patients. In her spare time, Lizz enjoys reading, baking, new experiences and spending time with friends.

Ashley

Ashley joined the practice in 2016 after completing high school and really enjoys working as a dental assistant. Ashley has successfully completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2018. Outside of work Ashley likes to spend time with family and friends and has a keen interest in make up.

Moira

Moira was originally a patient of Coorparoo Family Dental before beginning work at the practice as the receptionist in 1990. She has an uncanny memory for patients’ voices on the phone! Moira has two adult children and enjoys aqua aerobics, walking, going to the movies and spending time with her husband Malcolm.

Hannah

Hannah has been working as a dental assistant for six years and joined our team at Coorparoo Family Dental in 2016 when she returned to Brisbane after living in Melbourne. Hannah has completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting and is passionate about quality patient care. Hannah loves a good book and spending time with her family, friends and her rescue dog Diesel.

Kelly

Kelly has recently joined our team at Coorparoo Family Dental and has been a dental assistant for 3 years. She is currently completing her Certificate III in dental assisting and is passionate about furthering her knowledge in the dental industry. Outside of work, Kelly loves adventuring outdoors and creating delicious cakes.

Jade

Having always had a very high interest in the dental industry, Jade joined our team in December 2018 and is thriving in her new role. Jade has a passion for learning all things dental and is quickly becoming an indispensable member of our team. Jade loves to make patients feel comfortable and to help them have the best experience possible. In her spare time Jade loves to cook and watch an unnecessary amount of reality TV.

Hayley

Hayley joined our team in at the beginning of 2019, after moving from the country to join us here in the big smoke as she calls it. Hayley has worked in dental industry for three years (and counting!), when you call our practice it’ll be Hayley’s cheery voice that will greet you! In her spare time you will find Hayley at Suncorp Stadium cheering on the Brisbane Broncos or the mighty QLD Maroons!
